What it's about
Community, problem solving, and creativity
As a long time resident of Wakefield, I have always cherished the strong community that is a hallmark of Wakefield. When my children entered the Wakefield public schools, I knew that I wanted to be a part of that community as well. I have found that serving on the Woodville PTO has enabled me to share some of my skills while knowing that we, collectively, were always doing the best to help provide a nurturing and supportive environment for not only our children, but also the educators who we trust with the important task of their education.

I am now seeking to to be a part of the larger conversation. I would like to serve my community by offering my time to the important and sustained work of ensuring that all Wakefield students have access to a great education and opportunities for their enrichment.
During my 20 years as a member of a trade union, I developed a distinct knowledge of labor practice, learned to coalesce a palette of ideas from a variety of stakeholders, and found ways to solve problems while under time and budget constraints.
